A day trip to Lavaca Bluffs Winery is one of the many activities on the Spring 2018 schedule for Victoria College’s Academy of Lifelong Learning.
An annual membership to Victoria College’s Academy of Lifelong Learning could make a perfect gift this holiday season for adults young and old.
The Academy of Lifelong Learning provides members with common interests the opportunity to participate in study, discussions and social interaction. VC’s Workforce & Continuing Education Department recently released its Spring 2018 schedule that includes a day trip to a local winery among other social events and instruction on genealogy, gardening, stained glass, interior design, yoga and other activities.
The annual membership fee for VC’s Academy of Lifelong Learning is $50.
“We are very excited about the events, activities and classes we have scheduled for the spring,” said VC Lifelong Learning Specialist Erin McKenzie. “An annual Academy of Lifelong Learning membership would be the perfect gift for that member of the family who seems to have everything.”
Members will be able to sign up for Spring 2018 events and activities during the Academy of Lifelong Learning Open House on Thursday, Jan. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Conference & Education Center at VC’s Emerging Technology Complex located at 7403 Lone Tree Road in Victoria.
